Graduated at Humboldt university in Berlin with the master thesis topic on sediment microbiology focusing  on the interaction between methanotrophs and elemental copper. Entered the research group of astrobiology at Technische Universitaet on November 2018 as research assistant with the idea of continuing as PhD student focusing on halophilic methane oxidizers.
