This seminar should give an overview of modern simulation methods as they are currently applied in physics. Particle-in-Cell-, Tree-, Molecular-Dynamics-, Monte-Carlo-, Upwind- and spectral methods (amongst others) are introduced and discussed.
Performance:
Student talks supervised by professors and research assistants.
Target group:
Students with astronomy as elective subject in physics diploma. Open for all students with interest in astronomy and astrophysics.
