Instruments (telescopes, detectors, satellites, spectrographs), high energy radiation processes, galactic and extragalactic X-ray sources (main sequence stars, compact objects, SNRS, double stars, AGNs, quasars, galaxy clusters).
Conditions:
Knowledge of physics and mathematics, and of the Physics/B.Sc. module Einführung in die Astronomie und Astrophysik advised.
Performance:
Biweekly two-hour lecture (1 SWS)
