Content:
Classification of stars, RV method, rotation of the Sun, stellar spectroscopy, observation with telescopes, astronomical systems of coordinates, galactic rotation curve, properties of eclipsing binaries, light curves of dwarf novae.
Conditions:
Abgeschlossenes Vordiplom / B.Sc. in Physik, Mathematik, Informatik oder vergleichbaren Studiengängen.
Performance:
Four-hour practical course. Teamwork (small groups) on different astronomical topics.
Target group:
Wählbares Praktikum als Teil des Moduls Astronomie und Astrophysik im Master-Studiengang. Sonstige Studierende mit Interesse an Astronomie und Astrophysik.
