For one week, young people with a keen interest in astronomy and space travel were offered an interesting programme of lectures and visits. This holiday camp has been firmly established for years and the 25 places for participants are booked up very quickly from year to year.

Ruth Titz-Weider was able to contribute a lecture to the highly interesting programme on the topic “Exoplanets: Distant Worlds – Alien Worlds”, in which she also presented the upcoming missions and research in German institutions as the SPP-1992.

The many enquiries showed the interest in this exciting topic. Perhaps one of the young people will one day evaluate the data from the PLATO or Ariel missions.
