Our next destination takes us to the former capital of the Federal Republic of Germany: to Bonn. The federal city on the Rhine not only has a lot of political history to offer, but also an extensive research landscape. The focus of this roadshow stop is primarily on the radio regions of the universe. These are electromagnetic waves that not only end up in radio sets, but can also reach into the depths of space. Look forward to exciting contributions from the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy and the astronomical and physics institutes of the Universities of Cologne and Bonn.
Researchers from these institutions will report on their current research in lectures and presentations in the middle of Bonn on the Hofgartenwiese.
