Szilard Csizmadia is member of the SPP 1992 and the PI of this project.
‘The Universe To Youth’ is a two-year cooperation of BRG Kepler with the astronomers associations VEGA from Hungary and HAAT from Romania.
Workshops will be held with interesting presentations by professional astronomers (from ESA, DLR, the University of Bonn and the University of Cambridge) and amateur astronomers on a variety of topics such as exoplanets, galaxies, radio telescopes and spacecraft engines.
What questions will have focus in the meeting?
- How to attract and orient of the youth people to astronomy and astrophysics?
- How to popularize astronomy better using modern pedagogical tools, like inclusive pedagogy
- How to help the carriers of young people in scientific and (space-)enginering field
It includes four project meetings and a series of sidewalk astronomical events.
Talks about popularizing and teaching astronomy are welcome. Exoplanets and alien life search have a high importance in this project. Participation fee: 220 and 220 EURs both occassions, contact: vcse@vcse.hu
