Science is exciting, science is fun! For an entire evening, institutes, laboratories, lecture halls and clinics in Jena open their doors into the night and show guests how versatile and interesting their research is. There is much to marvel at, learn and try out for young and old!
On November 25, 2022, all night owls young and old will finally be able to look over the shoulders of Jena’s many scientists and ask their questions about research. After a three-year break, a Long Night of Science can finally take place in Jena again.
Starting at 5 p.m., the opening of the 8th Long Night of Science will take place this time at the Beutenberg Campus and is sure to fascinate you with the topic of ‘science’. Afterwards (6 p.m.) and then even until midnight, numerous partners, e.g. the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena, the Beutenberg Campus Jena e. V., the Uniklinikum Jena as well as the research-related Jena business enterprises – first and foremost Carl Zeiss in Jena, Jenoptik AG and Schott in Jena – invite you to almost countless exciting and varied program items. There are experiments, lectures, presentations, hands-on activities and guided tours waiting for the whole family and definitely take everyone into the multifaceted world of science as well as the latest inventions and discoveries “Made in Jena”.
