Teacher Training Seminar

What are the new discoveries, methods, and missions in the exploration of planetary worlds outside our solar system?

In this training, we will present some planetary systems with their exciting history of discovery, showing how science works. After finding the planets and determining their basic properties such as radius, mass and age, we will move on to: what does it look like inside a super-Earth?

Target group: Teachers at secondary level I and II (Sekundarstufe I und II), especially for STEM subjects, but also anyone with an interest in a current astronomical topic.

Registration: Please email schoollab-berlin@dlr.de by June 8, 2023 with the following information: Last name, first name, school, nationality (for admission service).
