26th International Microlensing Conference held at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, CA
Our SPP 1992 scientist Yiannis Tsapras attended this conference.
With the header “Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the first microlensing results” the meeting took place from 31st January to 02nd February.
Topics that were covered included: the history of microlensing, astrometric microlensing, interferometry, detection of free-floating planets, cold exoplanets, brown dwarfs, binaries, neutron stars and black holes.
Synergies between upcoming Big Missions were discussed, such as Gaia, Rubin, Roman and Euclid. The next decade promises to be very exciting for microlensers around the world!
