The interdisciplinary workshop – which will take place in the Maritim Hotel in Kiel from April 29 to May 03 – aims to bring together experts from astrophysics, particle physics, solar/stellar physics, planetary sciences, and atmospheric chemistry/climate physics to understand “Stellar space weather and its impact on exoplanetary habitability”.
Various lectures and seminars by experienced lecturers are provided under the coordination of Privatdozent Dr Konstantin Herbst.
Detailed information can be found at our website:

The school is particularly suitable for Master’s and PhD students, but also for postdocs and Bachelor’s students.
For participating SPP 1992 members, both accommodation and catering are free of charge. External participants are also welcome, but we would like to point out that we can only provide the catering (drinks and meals for all days). This means that external participants have to pay for the accommodation on site, as well as traveling to and from the event.
There are 25 spots available, for which the registration is now open
(https://springschool2024.spp1992-exoplanetdiversity.de/registration/).
Early registration is possible until March 1st, 2024. During that time, preference for spots will be given to members of the SPP-1992. However, non-SPP students are also encouraged to register during that time and will be notified within a few days after the deadline whether a spot is available.
The deadline for late registration is March 15th, 2024. Please note that registration for participation during this second period is only possible if there are still spots available after the early registration phase!
