A nationwide teacher training course took place at the Haus der Astronomie from 9 to 11 November 2023
Sponsored by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation, 100 teachers from all over Germany were able to take part – but the number of interested parties was significantly higher.
Under the title “PLATO – a new look at exoplanets”, Ruth Titz-Weider explained the state of exoplanet research and the aims of PLATO to the teachers and showed them possibilities for teaching.
