The Astronomy Teacher Training is a nationwide training event for teachers who provide astronomical education in astronomy, physics or geography classes, as leaders of study groups or as staff of public and school observatories and planetariums.
The programme of lectures, which is intended to provide further training and suggestions for teaching practice, will include a balanced mix of contributions on subject-specific science and subject-specific didactics. There will also be opportunities to exchange experiences.
